6. June 2026 🐾 Bruma needs our help 🐾

Just two months old and seriously injured, she was lying in a field, alone and helpless. Fortunately, an observant person reported the discovery, and the volunteers from Al-Bayyasa set out immediately.

When they found Bruma, it quickly became clear that she wouldn’t have survived without help.

The examination at the veterinary clinic revealed serious injuries. Her right front leg was broken—both the ulna and the radius. Bruma had to be admitted as an inpatient; she was far too weak to undergo surgery. But after just one night, she began to lift her head and eat. And soon she was already eager to explore the world.

The little fighter wanted to live. Bruma underwent surgery and has since been discharged from the veterinary hospital.

Today, the little fighter is safe. But her journey is far from over.

The hospital stay and surgery alone have already cost around 1,100 euros. On top of that, there are follow-up exams, dressing changes, and ongoing veterinary care, which Bruma still urgently needs to make a full recovery.

For a small animal welfare organization like Al-Bayyasa, such costs are nearly impossible to cover. In recent months, there have been numerous emergencies and high veterinary bills. Teresa has a big heart and can’t turn away a helpless animal.

Bruma was lucky enough to be found. Many animals aren’t so lucky. That’s why it’s so important to support the people who help them.
