Pedagogical Day at Doggyland in Romania

Hier ist der korrigierte und ins Englische übersetzte Text: — ### **English Translation** Our cooperation partners from the private animal shelter *Doggyland* in Romania had some very special visitors last week. In Romania, a new initiative called the “Lesson with and for Animals” has been introduced for 5th and 6th grade classes. It is an opportunity that not all schools have been able to take advantage of yet, but thanks to committed teachers, it has already been implemented in the community where Doggyland is located. Two classes were allowed to visit the private shelter. The children brought many gifts for the dogs at Doggyland: toys, blankets, beds and food. This brought great joy to both the recipients and the givers. The enthusiasm with which the children wanted to learn more about the dogs and the shelter fills Alex, who founded the shelter, and us with great hope for the future. Because if these children are an example, then the future belongs to better people—more compassionate, more attentive and more respectful toward other living beings.
We join Alex’s call: Let’s raise a generation that loves, respects, and protects animals!
