Found a Home at the Bark Date
We would like to thank our dear animal welfare colleagues from Bark Date. This wonderful initiative has made many of our dogs more visible and has helped bring the topic of rescue dogs closer to more people. At various locations across Germany, Bark Date organizes meet-ups on dog parks where foster dogs in Germany and people looking for a four-legged family member can get to know each other in a relaxed and natural way.
And more and more often, the little miracle happens that the perfect match is found at a Bark Date. This year, four wonderful and very happy teams from Tierschutzverein Europa found each other at a Bark Date. We are thrilled that Caramel, Turka, Pipo and Monter have found their dream homes there.
Not only between people, but also between dogs and humans, great love sometimes looks different than expected. Here, it’s not about data and facts like age, breed or health status, but about eager dogs meeting open-minded people, because at first it’s all about mutual sympathy. Of course, after a successful first meeting, all sides are thoroughly assessed to ensure that it truly is the perfect match.
Manche Schicksale gehen auch ungewöhnlich Wege über das Bark Date zum Happy End. Wie bei Spikey, der auf der Suche nach einem neuen Zuhause keine neue, sondern etwas viel Besseres. Hier hat sich für Spikey und seine Familie der Traum erfüllt, dass sich noch jemand in ihn verliebt hat und im Team die Betreuung gesichert ist. Statt also eine neue Familie zu finden, hat Spikey nun sogar zwei.
